Glennese is a strategic genius, assisting organizations with plotting their tactical course for nearly 20 years. With her vast communication, educational, leadership and community affairs experience Glennese has become well known and highly touted in education reform, with a strong concentration in charter schools; consulting and advising inner city schools on hiring and onboarding, review and assessment, board development, marketing and student recruitment.
Prior to joining Gemini, she was a Project Manager with SchoolWorks where she led school quality review teams as they assessed district and charter schools throughout the country. She also served on charter Request For Proposals and renewal committees. Glennese was a member of the inaugural staff of the Ryan Fellowship, a highly selective principal preparation program of the Alain Locke Initiative where she recruited and served as the advisor for aspiring principals. Glennese was instrumental in selecting, training and placing principals in charter schools in Chicago, New York and LA.
Glennese holds a Bachelors of Arts degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Lamberhurst University. She also received the Chicago Defender Newspaper’s 2016 Women of Excellence award.
